Frank

I thought it might be fun to show my bunny Frank. I took pictures of him in full fiber and then after I had sheared him.

Here he is in full fiber. I had just brushed and blown his coat. He didn't like it too much, you can see his ears are laid back!

And...after I sheared him. He is much happier, see his ears are up. Sometimes I get a little closer to the skin. It was early spring and still a little cool at night so, I didn't want to leave him completly naked.

I hope everyone had a WONDERFUL HOLIDAY SEASON! I sure did!! I look forward to sewing lesson beginning again, new students and projects. I am excited to share one of my projects! For the first time I sat down at my spinning wheel with a specific project in mind. I chose the lightest fiber from Frank (my angora bunny) and spun some yarn. I was surprised how quickly it went. After plying and setting the yarn, I sat down and crocheted the most adorable hat for my newest neice. Whitney recieved the warmest, softest, and cutest hat for Christmas! There is still yarn left! If you have a special little one you would like a hat for contact me and we can talk!! Can't wait for all the exciting things waiting in 2009!!
